His diverse achievements include a $3.3 billion settlement against Big Tobacco on behalf of the County of Los Angeles, a $45.6 million verdict in a legal malpractice case (which is the largest of its kind in California’s history), one of California’s largest pre-trial injury settlements in the amount of $32.5 million, a $14.5 million verdict against a major health club concerning failure to perform proper resuscitation, a $12 million dollar injury verdict against a major property management company, an $11.75 million dollar settlement against the County of Los Angeles for distracted driving leading to a wrongful death, and a $10.35 million award in a business fraud case against a major financial corporation.
Bruce tried and won a $55 million jury verdict for sports and television personality Erin Andrews against the Nashville Marriott relating to video secretly taken of her while she was in a state of undress in her hotel room. The case was covered nationally and internationally by all major media outlets and sparked a national conversation about security, safety and privacy for hotel guests. This verdict led to Bruce being named Consumer Attorney of the Year by the Consumer Attorneys of California.
In 2017, Bruce was named a Plaintiff’s Lawyers Trailblazer by the National Law Journal. In 2018, he was named to the Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America “Hall of Fame.”

Tobin Lanzetta has devoted his career to fighting for public safety. His $100+ million in case victories have demanded accountability from corporate and governmental wrongdoers. Tobin was named a 2016 California Consumer Attorney of the Year along with his colleagues Bruce Broillet, Scott Carr and Molly McKibben for their Erin Andrews v. Marriott $55 million trial result.
Tobin’s trial areas include catastrophic injury, wrongful death, brain injury, product liability, heavy machinery/trucking, train incidents, and government liability. Recently, a Ventura County Superior Court jury awarded nearly $3.5 million to Tobin’s clients after a catastrophic forklift injury where the defendants took no responsibility.
In one of the defining cases of his career, Tobin played an instrumental role in the high-profile Santa Monica Farmers Market cases. After an elderly man mowed down victims at the weekly farmers’ market, the City of Santa Monica and other defendants paid $21 million to settle the lawsuits. Importantly, these cases led to the installation of protective barriers which ensures that the weekly farmers’ market will be a safer environment for every person who visits.
Tobin is a partner and has been named a “Super Lawyer” 2014-2018. He was also honored as a Super Lawyer “Rising Star” in 2005 and 2007-2013.
Tobin graduated from Santa Clara University, after originally attending Swarthmore College. He received his law degree from the University of San Diego.
Before Tobin attended law school he played baseball for the Montreal Expos and Los Angeles Dodgers organizations.

Ivan Puchalt is a standout among the rising stars of trial lawyers in the field of personal injury law. By aggressively championing consumer rights, Ivan has won several high-profile cases involving public safety and the rights of whistleblowers and disability insurance policyholders…earning him the nomination for Trial Lawyer of the Year from Consumer Attorneys of California in 2013, 2014 and 2018.
Ivan’s trial practice focuses on catastrophic personal injury, products liability, wrongful death municipal liability, employment, and insurance bad faith. Knowing the odds are stacked against average citizens, Ivan strongly believes that courts and juries are the true equalizers.

This case earned Ivan a nomination for 2014 Trial Lawyer of the Year from Consumer Attorneys of California.
Ivan achieved a $7.6 million jury verdict against the City of San Diego for a man paralyzed by a falling queen palm tree, earning Ivan a nomination for 2013 Trial Lawyer of the Year from Consumer Attorneys of California.
